Designed to keep urchin-style baits firmly attached to the hook, the Jewel Baits Freak-O Rig features a special profile with a curved stopper, open slot hook, and six aggressive barbs that grip soft plastic securely.
To use, fully insert the rig into the center ball of an urchin bait. With the slotted end protruding out the opposite side, insert the hook point through both the slot and outer skin of the center ball, then slide the rig past the hook bend onto the straight shank.
Measuring 17 millimeters (approximately 0.66 inches), these rigs are compatible with many urchin baits and work with both single and treble hooks. A reliable choice for anglers targeting species that respond to urchin presentations.
